Jip is a dynamic entrepreneur, skilled tattoo artist, and passionate musician. Known for his versatility, he has founded numerous startups and served as a trusted advisor to various international companies. In 2018, a serendipitous encounter introduced Jip to the world of tattooing, sparking a deep fascination with the art form. This passion led him to establish his own tattoo studio, MIRROR TATTOO, where he has inked internationally renowned figures like OneRepublic and collaborated with the local production team 16:9 to create the tattoo-themed show 852Ink. In just five years, the studio has grown to include nine resident tattoo artists and earned recognition from TimeOut in 2024 as one of “Hong Kong’s Best Tattoo Studios.”

Beyond his work in tattooing, Jip’s love for music has driven him to transform part of his studio into a professional music performance space. To date, he has hosted over 20 live music events, welcoming acclaimed artists such as Irish singer Dermot Kennedy and featuring performances by harmonica virtuoso CY Leo, local singers Cath Wong and Lai Ying, and rapper Heyo. The music program Groo Groo Live was also filmed at MIRROR TATTOO, further cementing the studio as a creative hub where art, ink, and music intersect.
